Messaging keeps going offline (facebook chat)

Every time I go into messaging I set my status to Online my friends load, and a few seconds later it returns to Offline. It does the same thing if I set it Online via my tile. It did that on my Windows 7 phone also? Sometimes if I remove Facebook and add it back it works for a little while.

Anyone else having the problem, know how to fix it? Please help!

not sure what causes that issue my htc trophy on wp 7.5 was jus doing that on its own a couple days ago i would switch it online and ever 20 mins it would switch offline. i think its a microsoft/facebook thing

Not having your issue, but a buddy on TMO HTC 8x is. I can see him go in and out as we were messaging.

Call your carrier and talk to them how to add VPN. Are you on T-Mobile?
