Metro App versions

This may seem like a silly question.... how can you tell what release version of a Metro app you have? In the Play Store, the App Store, even BlackBerry World, they app page will give a release version. I can't find it in the Windows store, and because they're Metro apps, most don't have an "about" page that would give the info. Any ideas?

Good question. I never really cared, since as long as it's updated then the version didn't really matter.

I'm dealing with a malfunctioning app. The vendor has asked what version we're working with because the "latest" version should fix the issues. I can't tell them what version I have because I can't tell. All I know is that it's the latest I can get from the store.

Most modern apps should have an About option or similar when you open the settings charm.
