MetroPCS questions

Ok I got the $50 plan at MetroPCS which includes Unlimited talk, text and data (Throttled after 2.5GB). And I pay an extra $10 on top of that to enable internet sharing on my 521 which includes 2.5GB of hotspot data. My question is do I only have 2.5GB of data for my monthly use and internet sharing or are they separated to 2.5GB each? I Googled for answers but couldn't find anything at all on this question, odd.

I had that too. But when I used more than 2.5 GB, the WiFi sharing still worked but slow. I'm not sure if it was an error or something.

Oh alright thanks. I asked the lady at the store when I bought it of there separate and she said yes but I had a feeling she didn't know what she was talking about. I also thought I read when you reached 2.5GB the hotspot stopped.

It didn't stop after 2.5 GB which I thought was odd...

It doesn't stop after 2.5GB the speed is just reduced to normal after that, but I believe that just applies to 4G LTE phones, you still get unlimited data though
