Microsoft 950 extreme battery drain on new phone

2day old fone, I've turned Catana, skype, hello and one drive off, screen always on 10% and internet has been set on 3g. Full charge is very quick but within 20mins down to 88%, I just recharged fully again and it's down to 83% within 25mins. I've seen posts that a system update helps but I can't update as it sits on 0% update. I've completed 5 factory resets in 2 days. Pls help

I'd maybe keep it plugged in and wait for that update to finish. I'm guessing all the battery use is in trying to download the update.

Get a new sim card. Old cards can make the phone use more power.
Also, install the latest firmware.

I've seen your other post on the many resets you've done.

Use windows devi tool to do a fresh install.
Once that is done, do not restore when setting up the account
Disable auto updates of store apps
Check for updates for OS but download and install when charging from wall socket with original charger
Once all OS updates and firmware are installed, then install apps, a few at a time. Same with app updates
