Microsoft account Sign in option under user account is not working

The issue is as follows:

After update to Windows 10 PC from Windows 7, I am unable to sign with Microsoft account (under User settings under main settings). None of the sign in option are working, Neither under "Your account" nor under "Family and other user".

on clicking on "Sign in with a Microsoft account instead", nothing happens. Neither any pop up nor another page comes for asking Microsoft login. Same problem is with Microsoft Store. when I click on "sign in", next page doesn't come for asking login credentials. I am not able to download any app from Microsoft store since I am not logged in.
There is only one Local account administrator, and no new account is getting added.

Please suggest.

Is MIcrosoft Team and all other users bothered only with 950XL. Cant anyone assist us in issues getting faced in daily work.
Someone pls assist. Thanks
