I use the Microsoft Band app without a paired fitness tracker, just let the phone motion data track the steps.
On my Lumia 950XL and Elite x3 the number of counted steps has always been very close with my actual number recorded with a pedometer, which I check occasionally.
The last 3 days have had the phone track 10000 to 20000 additional steps while I have been at my desk at work or just walking around the office. Way too many steps comparatively.
I switched from a holster to carrying the phone in my back pocket. Think this is the culprit?
Could using a case versus keeping the phone naked be the issue? Doubtful but confused here, looking to see if anyone else has experienced this.
