Microsoft edge killing my phones battery even

Microsoft edge killing my battery even when background is turned off and when I'm not even using it. Anyone knows how to fix this issue, I'm on the latest build .107 fast ringer but still old firmware due to att.

Yes, send it back to At&t. I did and my new one has much better battery life. Tried everything on the old one. However, the new one has problems now - rear speaker does not work anymore so another new one is on the way.

Well I got it from the Microsoft store hopefully they'll exchange it as well. I'm trying to send a screen shot but not sure how. Edge is using 40% battery in last 24 hours 55% when in use and 45% background (even when background is turned off) please tell me that's not normal.

And If I do go to exchange what do I tell the store ?

Did you try soft/hard reset?

I soft reset all the time. I've done a hard reset a week after I got the phone in December. Might need yo hard reset it again. :/ .

Now I don't know if I should exchange it. And even if I wanted to I wouldn't know what to say. Or just hard reset it.

Take it back. Make them address their problems.

it's weird. my edge uses very little battery proportion in background even if i enabled its background usage.
