Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter problem

Since my Surface Book was updated with the recent Windows 10 Pro v1607 (OS build 14393.969) in late MAR 2017, I have been unable to connect to my TV using either a v1 or v2 device. The "connecting" message appears on the TV screen for a couple of minutes before timing out.

My Surface Pro (original model) running Windows 10 Insider Preview builds worked normally until I installed 15060, when the same problem as described above started. On 31 MAR 2017, this machine updated to build 15063.11 and still has the same problem.

Both my v1 and v2 Wireless Display Adapters have the latest firmware:
v1: 1.3.8365 (30 AUG 2016)
v2: 2.0.8372 (03 JAN 2017)

Interestingly, while my Surface Book was trying to attach to each adapter today I was able to use the Wireless Display Adapter app to edit the name of each adapter in turn; so clearly there was a connection to each device.

I can still connect and project to the TV using both adapters from two Windows 10 phones that are on the current build of Windows 10 Mobile.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions to enable me to mirror to the TV again.

Thanks,
Brent
