Today I was walking around campus and was happy to see a Surface Pro 3 user tapping away an essay. As I walked by the back of the device, however, I saw something terrible. There was a big, gaudy, white sticker of an apple with a bite out of it. Yes, this user had placed an Apple logo sticker right above where it says "Surface".
Of course, it is great for the company that she bought a Surface. At the same time, it seems like the public (at least in the US) try and associate all great hardware with the Cupertino company.
In other news, I always enjoy seeing pictures of Paul Thurrott's Macbook Air because he has placed a Microsoft sticker that allows the glowing apple light to shine through the four squares. What a double standard.
