Missing arrows in UI

I used "How to get rid of those app shortcut arrows on windows 10" per the instructions on this site. It worked great, but the next day when i rebooted my computer, instead of the arrows i have black square boxes covering more of the desktop icons then the arrows did, so much that i cant see the icons much. is there a fix for this now?

You can revert back by setting the Registry entries back to old values. You can find it from the steps you followed to remove shortcut icons
