Missing Mail

A strange one!

I received an email, the other day. When I went back, today, to refer to it, using the Mail app on my Surface, it was not there.

But, when I searched for the author, it appeared. Went back to the in box and, again, it was not there! Grabbed my phone and brought up mail and there it was. It also shows up if I use Outlook.

(Edit) Tried rebooting, out of desperation but no difference.

Anyone else seeing this?

My surface hides emails older than 2 weeks.

Check your sync settings if older emails appear to be missing. Lowest is "last 3 days".

Actually, it was the most recent email.

The email, suddenly, reappeared, today. Go figure.

I too have had a related problem with my Outlook.com e-mail account. Occasionally when I delete an email on my desktop running Outlook 2013 (64 bit) and/or delete an e-mail on my Windows Phone (running the 8.1 developer preview), the e-mail remains on my Surface 2 (in the e-mail app, not Outlook). The only thing I can do is to also manually delete it from from the Surface 2.

Seems like Microsoft still has some work to do.

Occasionally Outlook.com email deleted from my phone stays on my PC or vice versa, too. It seems to be because of a sync timing issue.
