My daughter is trying to send me pictures by way of MMS. I get this message instead of the pics:

"One or more of the message components have been deleted by MMS Adaptation. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for your handset."

The pics were not that large and I have received pics from her before. I searched online and in the forums and found some old threads but no solution.
I am on ATT and using a 920.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

What device does she have? What carrier does she have? What file format are the pictures?

Galaxy S4, Verizon, the pics were screen shots, not quite sure what format they were.

My boyfriend is using the same phone - Samsung Galaxy S4 (T-Mobile).

A few months ago (around the time you posted this) he wouldn't get any picture messages from me at all. Some time ago the issue was fixed, and it's been a good run.

Just now he's started getting the same error message when I send him a pic - and my picture also happens to be a screenshot. I know I sent him a screenshot last week just fine. Any resolution to this issue as it seems to be reoccuring?

The screenshots are saved as .jpg

I am using a Nokia Lumia 928, Verizon
