I am new to Straight Talk and the Windows Phone and I am having many issues with my MMS not working. My Phone is the HTC Windows Phone 8x Model
HTC HTC 6990LVW It is an unlocked Verizon phone with a Straight Talk AT&T SIM Card. The Data APN settings went in OK but the MMS settings would not even save. Just kept reading (Add MMS APN) while the Internet read (edit Internet APN) Then my phone automatically updated then the MMS APN setting completely disappeared from my phone. I have also tried the (Connection Setup) and it won't even open for me. It states that there is no SIM card and or SIM code needs to be entered and or Airplane mode needs to be turned off. 1 I have a SIM card. My phone works all but MMS, 2 the SIM is unlocked, 3 Airplane mode is off. I am at a loss and am considering leaving Straight Talk and Windows immediately if this not resolved. Your help would be great.

Thanks,
Anthony

I would first try to do a soft reset, then try a hard reset. Hopefully this fixes the issue. Then enter in your data APN.

Try doing this with Wifi on or off

On a side note:
There is no reason to leave Windows Phone for this issue as you have a device that wasn't designed to work on Straight Talk even thou it is unlocked. There are many At&t and T-Mobile Windows PHones that do work for Straight Talk.

I think this is an issue with Verizon phones on other networks. I have a Verizon 8x with an at&t sim, and I have no place to put the mms settings. I checked my 1020, and it has a place for them.

No one can get MMS to work on Straight talk with ATT sim. It's a pain, because WP doesn't allow full access to the APN settings of the phone and HTC hasn't updated their connections app to supply the correct MMS settings for Straight talk.

On my TMo 8X, carrier locked, under setting, messaging, is the Add MMS APN box.. Not sure if its the same for the other guys'..

Any update on this? I can't get MMS to work on ATT.

I've read that this is only an issue with
Verizon version
