Mobile Insurance Claim....AT&T just gave me THIS for my 920!

I just put in a claim for my 920 through AT&T, talked them into warranty replacing my phone even though it was out of warranty. (Amazing how amicable they are when you point out that you only have 90 days left on a 2 year contract, gotta love capitalistic greed) so I'll let you all know if the phone refurb gods bless me with a 1520 instead.

Should be a couple more days...oh the anticipation. Either I get a new 1520 to use ... or I get a basically brand new 920 to sell on ebay to offset the cost of my 1520.

They do, tis called the 930/Icon. What you need is for AT&T to start offering it instead of that big red company.

Even if AT&T did offer it, they don't support qi wireless charging.

That's a great deal for you! But don't let it happen again because the cost to fix the 1520 screen is $200 and the deductible from ATT is also $200 for this phone...so essentially you pay a monthly insurance fee for nothing! I found this out recently when i dropped my 1520..

AT&T only allows you to add insurance within 30 days of purchasing your phone. Probably to so prevent people from adding insurance just to get a new phone.

That policy changed a few years ago. I busted my 1520 and they have been trying to sell me insurance everytime i talk to ATT in store or on the phone but its not worth it with a $200 deductible on this phone.

They Must have gone back to it. When I Bought My wife A new Phone in July they Said that was the Policy. At the time they had a sort of "open enrollment" offer. But a person can no longer add it at any time. I cancelled and signed up with square trade. Now I cover 2 Phones for less than I paid for 1.
