Mobile Nations forums not working in Board Express

This isn't a Board Express bug. I was able to use forums not affiliated with Mobile Nations. However wpcentral and all others aren't working.

I tap on a thread and it never opens. It only happens with all of the Mobile Nations forums.

Please fix it.

yes, all the dates of the posts is 01-01-0001 00:00:00 and posts simply does not open. At least WPC.

Crackberry, Android Central and iMore don't work either. Another forum called MyBroadband, which is not affiliated with Mobile Nations, works just fine. So it's a Mobile Nations problem, not a Board Express problem.

yeah mine seems to work half ars, i see the forum and the threads but i cant open them!
it also seems to be lagging hard while loading.

I haven't seen anything in the Staff Forum about any thing being worked on , so im not sure why its doing this!

B.E does have a history of screwing somethings up with our Forums but cant say who's fault is is this time as I have very little info.

ill send a e-mail to Dave to see if he can get back to me on this , haven't seen him on today.

Here's the reply I got.

Laura,

All Mobile Nation's forums were updated to the latest version of Tapatalk today. Board Express is a 3rd party product that uses Tapatalk's API as an interface to power their app. Meaning, Board Express is a standalone application that we nor Tapatalk have control over.

Please contact Board Express and open a support request for further assistance: Support ? Board Express.

While you may only be seeing this on Mobile Nation's sites, it is possible that it's a result of us being one of the first to update Taptatalk, which included critical fixes.

I did contact Board Express.

However, there were some issues with Tapatalk and signatures that people complained about on Crackberry yesterday, so I'm still not convinced it's not Mobile Nations' fault.

If the problem started this morning, it's because we upgraded Tapatalk, and Board Express likely needs to resolve an issue they are now having with their code that utilizes the Tapatalk API.

It's definitely a Board Express bug.

They need to be contacted again.
