Bottom line is for now, we're not going to release the REDFLY Mobile Viewer at this time in its current form – but we’re not killing it. Read on for the full explanation.

And, BTW, if you need to (or want to) continue using the REDFLY Mobile Viewer immediately, read the bottom paragraph of this post for some info.

The beta period officially ended 8-1-09. We received a tremendous amount of interest during the public beta. In fact, some very interesting conversations started happening with a few well-known names in the industry.

At this point, we believe REDFLY Mobile Viewer may have more value to Celio Corp and its customers in the form of a product brought to market with a partner company. Look for REDFLY Mobile Viewer to return in some fashion soon.

Anyway, we are still actively working on the REDFLY Mobile Viewer (ie. it’s not dead).

For those individuals who started to integrate the software into their daily workflow or if you just really, really want to keep using it, send a message to me through the WMexperts system and I’ll get back to you with an option that will allow you to continue using it.

Colin or Laurie,
Is there anything new happening on the Viewer? I've found myself missing it lately as it had some advantages when I was traveling and using my work Notebook in a hotel in the evenings. I'm thinking the Redfly defectors (to Netbooks) would buy it if the price point was right.

It's probably your only chance of getting any more money from us, as I for one will not be buying another Redfly just to support a new version of Windows Mobile.
