Mother's Day?!?!?

I just opened my Lumia phone yesterday there's a Mother's Day calendar event on it. WTF?? I didn't put it there :amaze: . Is there a hidden feature in the WP8.1's Calendar App that I don't know about?? P.S. I'm new to Lumias lol (Also I love how it showed up from nowhere since I had actually forgotten about the special day :smile

It's just one of the calendars you are synced with. I have both Microsoft and Google accounts and have them show "US Holidays" in the settings in the calendar app.

It's not specific to Lumias. It's done by the calendar (/email) you use, like outlook, live, or Gmail.

Must have gotten it from US Holidays then. Damn I got like 4 calendar syncs, this is way better than Android. Never gonna miss anything again!!!

It is automagical, like Quiet Hours kicking in for that calendar entry marked "busy" or notification icons on Glance or Cortana reminding you to get potatoes when you arrive at the grocery store.
