Moving from Lumia 710 to Lumia 620 very soon.

I've got a Lumia 620 on the way and I am very excited. I don't care for the large-screened 720, 820, or 920. They're just too big for me. I prefer the smaller screen, which is why I have stuck with my sturdy Lumia 710 since the release of WP8 devices. I'm looking forward to joining everyone on WP8 so I can take advantage of all the new features and apps.

Just wanted to say hi and I'm sure you'll see a lot more of me in this forum in the future.

Welcome to the club! Just like you i had a lumia 710 and decided to get the 620 because it fits my needs. I did not want a bigger screen either and the lumia 620 has everything that i need!

Great! Have you been pleased with the 620? Do you regret moving from the 710?

Yes, I am very pleased with my lumia 620. It is faster in starting applications and the phone is absolutely beautiful! The lumia 710 is a great phone but surely the 620 is so good that you will probably forget the lumia 710 once you get on your hands the 620. A big difference i noticed between the two is the screen. Even though both screens are similar, the lumia 620's screen seems much much better in colours and vibrance. Also, i had some problems with the sun when i had the lumia 710 which the 620 manages to take care! I believe you will not regret making the switch. Not only you get the new platform (WP8) but you get a better phone and more beautiful. Of course that depends on what you think is more beautiful but the colored shells are great!

Yeah, be limited to 3G is frustrating when I have had 4G on my Lumia 710 for so long. I hope I can put up with the speed downgrade.

The WP8 OS still has issues like excessive battery drain(esp with open IE or with its App downloader service), never used WP7 so cant say the same but never heard of issues from Wp7. The adv of Wp8 is resizeable tiles, Live USB support, etc.
My friend has a 710 and his screen sucks compared to my 620 though. Let us know what you think of the 620 after a solid months use! Thanks!

You will be very pleased with the device . I am came from Optimus7 to L620. Its a huge difference between these two devices. All in all L620 is better in everything from sound q , trough camera to speed .
