Moving SkyDrive to SD slot on Windows 8.1

Hi, I want to move all my SkyDrive files to save offline on my SD card; however, it says I need to format it to NTSF format (it is FAT format right now)
How do I do this and is there a negative side to doing this

Can't figure out how to delete this thread but I figured out the skydrive thing (1 step forward...1 step back). Just had to right-click to change the format of the SD card. Also had to right click skydrive and told it to save the location under preference.

Hi,
Did you manage to change the skydrive default folder to a SD card? In windows 8 it worked for me with a mount point, but this doesn't work in windows 8.1 anymore. I tried to format my microSD as NTFS, but skydrive keeps saying I need to pick an other folder.
