Has anyone noticed a considerable increase in MS Health's battery consumption after the recent update? It's battery consumption on my 640XL since the app updated has been a 40-50% of the battery use in a day?

What OS build? I know the latest Redstone mentioned lowering MS Health battery use. 420 is better than 338 for me. I have a feeling that since the app changed to a UWP one it's been a little higher all around.

I am on slow ring 14342. I noticed after the the last app/band update on 6/9? I tried a reset but didn't resolve

On my 640 XL, battery life has been excessive. I am on Redstone slow ring 14372. The app has been drawing up to 60% of my battery in the background. The constant syncing has also caused an excessive drain on my Band 1 battery life. I go from fully charged at 6 AM to 30% by 9 PM when I normally am at 70% by the same time.

This was an issue, some time back, and it was fixed, but it seems to be back. I am seeing very fast drain with MS Health taking upwards of 50%. I stopped it from running, in the background, and the problem seemed to disappear, but, of course, I was not getting any notifications. I turned on background, again, and the battery went down fast again. I'm on a 650 with the production release.

I'm not sure if this is possible on the Windows Phone version of the app but on the Android version it lets you control how often you sync. I believe the options are 30 minutes, 1 hour, and 4 hours. I don't need up to the minute data so I set it to 4 hours and the battery consumption of the app went way down for me.

I seem to recall folks saying that option wasn't available on the Windows Phone version of the app but maybe that has changed recently.
