MS Office is too basic

I work with a lot of Office documents. I thought MS Office for Windows Phone is better than other Office compatible apps on Android. Unfortunately the Windows Phone version by Microsoft is too basic. For example I can't do a word count and it can't even edit earlier version of Office. Some Android apps are better, some even have the change track feature.

Yep. Word Mobile is a complete joke, for creating and editing it's almost identical to OneNote.

I'd like to throw in the word calender.

...but Microsoft was busy copying WP7 exactly to the NT Kernel to release WP8, it seems they couldn't make any resources free to improve the actual features. But this is an old topic ;-)
