MS has already said that all NEW phones would upgraded for 18 months. So your point isn't valid.

Not practical at all as this would open a can of worms. What happens in 6-12 months when there is an upgraded 920? Would they get exemptions as well? The 900 is still a solid device besides the camera. No shame in that phone.

They can't upgrade hardware. Nokia also claimed that they would continue to support the 900 as well so there is that.

honestly, who doesn't research a purchase connected to a 2 year contract these days? At least Nokia will still support the 900, unlike pretty much every Android device out there. Next year at this time people will be salty that they are locked into the 920 still.

No crap. First Gen phones didn't have FFCs but they still got mango.
