1. It is MS fault because they missed to BUY the HERE part of Nokia !
2. The Android App will get more features then the WP app (like alternative routes)
3. The HERE team is now FOCUSING on Android and does not have any plans to add more features to the WP app
4. It IS a big deal
1) Microsoft tried to buy but Nokia didn't want to sell. What can they do? Point a gun in Nokia's head and threat them?
2) So let it be, Nokia is Nokia, Microsoft if Microsoft. HERE belongs to Nokia, why should Nokia care about WP of Microsoft?
3) Again, HERE belongs to Nokia, HERE do whatever Nokia tell them to do. Focusing on Android may be one of that
4) NO, it isn't... FFS, how old can you live? This is a freaking phone, not your own arms of legs, change it whenever it becomes bad and enjoy new one if you just cannot stand it anymore. What's the problem with changing a phone? a freaking mobile phone? Base on your idea, then no one should ever, ever. I meant: EVER buy a feature phone or Asha line anymore, hell with the "support" of those platforms
Not to mention, all of your "does not have any plans to add more features to the WP app" until now if just your assumption and imagination. Does Nokia or HERE confirm that they won't update HERE service on WP anymore, officially? Or just because someone in HERE didn't response to some strangers' question about WP in an article of Android?
Yet again, not all of us buy WP because of HERE services. I chose WP because it's WP, I just love the live tiles of WP and it' Nokia phone (it's freaking pretty phone IMO), nothing else. You don't need a bunch of reasons to like something. And you don't need to dig out bunch of disadvantages just to prove how you dislike it or want to change to another platform. You want to change to Android or iOS or whatever, just do it since you like it. The truth that WP's dead or not doesn't affect your life (unless you buy stock, well)
