Music control with volume press

Is there a way to turn off the audio control with VC toggle. When I press the volume up or down it adjusts the volume of the phone, but it also brings up the back, pause, and forward controls of the last song I was listening to. I'm not listening to anything but they keep popping up.

It will time out after a predetermined period (i think around 30-60 min) and no longer show the controls.

So there's no way to shut off the audio controls being displayed when you press the VC?

I do not believe so. Is it just... bothering you that it shows up? It shouldn't actually interfere with anything.

There is an app called Stop the Music! that will clear the music controls and stop any music currently playing. Either navigate to the app or pin a tile for it on your home screen.

After you use WP8 for a while, it won't bother you. lol

Guess I'm worried about firing off a song on accident that I was listening to in the car and have pop that coochie playing at an inopportune time.

Yeah, I don't think this is a big deal. I wish the volume range wasn't to big though. Have to push the rocker way to many times to adjust the volume.
