I just downloaded all my music to the phone. A number of these files I've had for "years" and were actually copied from CD's when you could do that sort of thing. Some files just say "track #" on the phone rather then the name of the song. On my computer I have them shown as song title, but obviously the phone picked up something different. Can the title "track #" be changed to the "actual title" and, if so, how?

Appreciate any help.

Right click the media file in question and select properties (assuming a Windows PC)
Go to the Details tab, and there you can edit the tags as you see fit.

I actually use a tag editor called MusicBrainz for automatic tagging metadata and in some cases album cover as well. Check it out, it's free, supports bulk tagging and best part..it actually works!

I got my music figured out, but I sure can't figure out some of this forum. My replies showed up in another thread at my end??????
