Music in Internet Explorer WP 8.1

In WP8 I was able to listen to music in for example bandcamp and do other things with my 925 in the mean time. With WP8.1 the music stops when switching to other screen. An advantage is that I now am able to use the media controls to switch songs.

Did others noticed this problem??

have you check in battery sense to see if IE is allowed to run in the background?

Yes it is allowed to run in the background
