Music, Pictures and Camera Quit Working During And After Charge

I've had this phone since launch day and it worked fine until a couple days ago when it started to lock up during or after a charge. Here's what happens. I charge the phone and if I am playing music and try to pause it the pause button shows I pressed it but just freezes on the screen and music still plays. If I'm not playing music and try to go into music or pictures it just says "loading" forever and never does anything and camera won't even start. But if I restart my phone it all starts working. Any ideas? I'd prefer not to wipe my phone but I will if I have to. This is incredibly annoying.
