Music+Videos live tile not working!

My music+videos live tile not working and there is no store option in my music+videos. And also there is no podcast section in my appstore...  What to do?

What do you mean "not working"?

Podcast are not available in many countrys. Use another podcast app like iPodcast.

Store may also be not available in your country ... that is?

You mean, you dont see the name of the artist wandering over the live-tile or what is "not working".

Where do you have your music stored and how are the files named?

No..when i play the music the artists name are shown but when i don't there is only a headphone icon and the live tile does not work.Usually in my friends 620 even though he is playing no music his live tile work...(the headphone slides and xbox comes

And u also said that podcast and music may not be available for my country...but then what about the 620 he has those option...

I didn't "say" anything, I merely suggestet, that it might be due to local restrictions. But if your friend is in the same country and HAS podcasts, that would strongly indicated that its not a countryrestriction.

What live tile feature are you missing? mine does not show anything neither except the artists name and cover while playback.

My phone has the same problem....the live tile when its not playing music dosent show the xbox brand its stock in headphones...for somebody that has a problem could be anoying...but i choose to ignore it...but friends that have othe phones like 520 it works...i have also flashed it but still dosent work. Since i bought it, got the flash for amber. nothing, got the flash for black nothing...There is a solution?

I don't think the tile is supposed to show anything else but the song/artist when playing.
When not playing, what you see is quite the "normal" behavior for that tile.

It is only "live" when something is playing.

Would be kinda cool if instead of just showing the artist scrolling it showed the album art.....but ya you have nothing broken friend.

Music + Video Hub Tile should rotate between the headphones and the Xbox Logo when not playing music.

Correct. If you have Xbox connection OFF in settings, that animation is disabled.

Lol, can't read what it says, but I suspect it is only "music+video's" on top, and "suggestions" in the box at the bottom...



Try this :

Lumia System Updater

check for updates, or install all the System apps manually....just select each one to install them through the store.

I think you may lack some setting apps....

Have a look at this thread :

They discussed the exact same issue, and apparently some got it resolved by installing smartglass...

Others report something more easy :

Hey i just found a solution, worked for me;
Just go to your xbox games settings and Login by taping sign-in .... (settings->games->sign-in) or (games->sign-in)
would work....

You could give it a go...
