I see what you're doing with this, but I'm going off-topic (or on topic?) to rant about my least favorite phrase ever: "It is what it is" ...it seems to me that people say this when they mean to say "I have absolutely nothing meaningful to contribute to this conversation, but I feel the need to speak anyway".
