My computer doesnt recognise my Lumia 620

Hi im using lumia 620 and when i try to connect my cable to usb port of pc it doesnt recognise it . The phone charges but i cant see the device in my computer... My brother has got a android and it recognises with the same cable !
PS I have restarted the phone , unlocked the screen and the same **** !

go in to control panel>>device manager. delete any and all drivers relating to your phone.
power off device. DO NOT REBOOT. using cable that came with phone, in the following order do this.
1. attach cable to computer USB port.
2.attach cable to phone. phone should power up by itself.
3. drivers should self install when phone powers up fully.

if this doesn't work. try a system restore on computer. go back to a point where your phone was recognized.
this is an option i had to use. also, if you are running the windows 10 technical preview for phone, that MAY
be a cause for the issue you are having.

I did it and the same

I had this problem simply because I was using a passcode. Once I entered it in and my phone went to homescreen, boom - Lumia shows up on my PC.
