The first view is already implemented.
The second view is unusable, and will be really weird while sliding from one view to another.

But what I like is that you made the concept, which means you like windows phone, which I support. So yay

I do wish they would allow us to change the text on tiles to black when we set a light background though

@ James Light, there's nothing wrong with your concept. The people who posted in the negative all saying how hard the app menu is to read need to go see an eye specialist because BOTH the start screen and the app menu have the SAME WHITE font over the same background but yet they ALL said the app menu was difficult to read and the start screen 0!!! What they should have intelligently said is nice concept which refers to having a background on the app menu listing, but at the same time say that it would work depending on the background chosen because of the white font. What you could have shown is the same thing but with different font colors.

Question - could you change the background so it's one image that's being spread between both windows? Might be kind of cool doing it like that.

Very nice....but why don't you leave the home screen the way it is now but blur (like you did in the app list) the image parts around the spaces and in-between the tiles.
