Lumia 1520 bricked phone - no USB response on recovery tool

Hi Folks,
My Lumia 1520 got bricked while doing Windows 10 preview update and not it is not even recognizable on USB so that I can run Windows Phone Recovery Tool. Any suggestions to fix the issue?

Try a hard reset. here are the instructions that have worked before. Send a thanks to forum member NoRomBasic for this quick writeup.

1. Turn your Lumia 1520 off. (in this case I had to wait until the phone turned itself off as holding down the power button simply took me back the BSOD)
2. Press Volume DOWN and keep pressing it while you connect the charger until you see an exclamation mark!.
3. Press - in this order - Volume UP - Volume DOWN - POWER - VOLUME DOWN.
4. Your phone will reset and reboot. Could take a LONG Time

Hi ScrubbyXD,
Thanks for the reply. The phone is completely unresponsive. And the buttons don't work anymore.
Regards,

Then you need a new mainboard. If your under warranty take it in.

If not (and your in the US) send me a PM for a quote.

Just for the halibut ...

I sent my phone to PALCO for remediation of phantom touch / screen lock / nav keys lock / Cortana popup issues. The whole ball of wax ...

Paid them $219 (USD - I'm in Philly area), they replaced the digitzer.
What would you charge, should I get clumsy (or something)?
What kinda turnaround time?

BTW - phone's working fine, they fixed it, hopefully permanently.

When you plug it in to a PC does it make the normal "bong" sound like when you plug a USB device in?

My 925 was temporarily borked to where it could not be powered on, reset or anything but when I plugged it in to my PC I got the above response...if you do, let me know and we'll troubleshoot further...

This one does not even register on any devices - Mac/Ubantu/Windows.
Even when powered with charger, it does not boot :(

Connect it to your PC or charger or if you have a wireless charger put it on the plate for a few hours. If during the update the battery got flat it is now in a coma and it takes a while to "wake" up.
