My Lumia 640 XL main screen tiles are not appearing.It is showing a loading sign. What do I do?

my lumia 640 xl main screen tiles are not appearing.It is showing a loading sign.

i guess it loading the tiles but is and in between taking lot of time and is restarting it self.Please help what to do.

Are you on w10? This happens on 950xl as well. Don't know exactly why and when. Soft reset solved it to me..

i am using windows 8.1 update 2.should i go for a hard reset or wait for the windows tech guys to fix it.

Try a soft reset first (hold volume down and power button for a few sec until it vibrates and the phone is rebooting) this should fix most issues

Loading after you unlocked screen may be a result of uninstalling Live lock screen beta app.

Loading after you unlocked screen may be a result of uninstalling Live lock screen beta app.

That is true my friend, had the same issue.

so, how to fix it.

If you have previously uninstalled Live lock screen then you have no other choices but hard reseting your device, as i had to do.

You can solve this issue by turning on and off Kid's Corner
