My Lumia 720 impressions

Heya folks, Have been following this thread for quite some time now. I am planning to buy lumia 720 , but the constant reviews about the problem with the screen freeze is what that has been keeping me at bay . But when i read that there was an update that could fix this , i couldnt just stop smiling . Alexander can u please let me know what all steps should i follow to get this update . I am an iphone and android user. This is my very first windows phone, but the tech specs this lumia has is so tempting , as i am gifting this phone to my dad(who's a big time nokia lover) , i dont want him to go through any pain. Please let me know how i can get it done . Planning to buy it tomorrow. Cheers!

I'm a L720 user here. I haven't heard about the update that you've mentioned but its great news if it's true. 720 is a great device. Yeah, it seldomly freezes, but what you need to do with it is to reset the phone: hold volume down key + power key in 12 seconds then the phone will restart.

Apparently there is , alexander had mentioned it . Tats y iv asked him how to go about it. No second thoughts regarding this being a superb phone!! all it requires a bit of patience .. lol ! Alexander still need ur help mate!!:smile:

hi, i totally lost this thread for months just for future readers i answer to this:
you can't totally fix phone freeze! After the day 1 update all goes a lot better, but after some months of use *sometime* it random freeze and i have to soft reset. Why? I *suspect* is a specific application, maybe skype, maybe whatsapp, maybe the low available space, but i have no idea how to totally fix it. Just hope in some fix from GDR2 Amber!
