My lumia 730 phone has stopped getting charged suddenly, Why?

I had charged my phone in the morning and it was charging properly but now i try to charge my phone and it is not taking up by any charger. For the first time i am facing this problem. Please help me out of this problem.

Hi, try a soft reset to start with (hold the power button + volume down button until phone vibrates/restarts).
It's also worth trying another charger if you can get hold of one.
Lastly depending on how long you have had the phone, the battery could be starting to fail.

First confirm its the phone as you may already have. (use known-good outlet, known-good charger...)

If it is your phone, it's probably the USB port. Try blowing out any accumulated lint or dust with compressed air and trying again.

Worst case it's possible the port needs replacement or the battery is failing.
