My lumia 920 is just not responding it is stuck on the glance screem

I just updated the preview wp 8.1 on my phone yesterday it was all working fine in the night but when i get up and see the its stuck on the glance screen and am not able to do anything and i donno how to restart it too as its a non removable battery set. Somebody please help me am really scared as its a new phone of mine.

Hold the volume down and power button for about 10-15 seconds it will reboot. My daughters 920 has issues with the dp 8.1 where it freezes too but she has dropped it a few times so I wasn't sure if that was the issue. The soft reset usually fixes it.

I also had this issue and the volume down and power button didn't work for me, if u still have the issue try pressing down all the keys on the side of the phone except for volume up. I found this solution when my phone froze on the lock screen. Good luck!
