My NL730's LED was blinking... anybody else noticed it their phones??

My Lumia 730 is having build 10536 and two days back I hard reset it. As we all know that in the previous builds we had options of LED in Notification settings which was later removed.
Today, surprisingly my phone's LED was blinking uniformly (and it was white blinking).
My battery was running very low at 3% and suddenly the phone switched off without any 'goodbye' and LED started blinking.
Is this some feature of this build which I missed out?? It happened for the first time and I didn't come across any article mentioning the same.

It's a known feature. Nothing new. The led starts blinking when battery runs low.

How come the LED starts blinking if the hardware buttons aren't there for Lumia 730

OP seems to be talking about hidden LED on 730. I don't know whether it has it or not but fellow 730 members will surely help you.

Its not the hardware buttons, the led is on the left top and blinks when the battery is low (similar to the 925's breathing Windows key). This feature has been known for more than half a year now.
