My Onedrive is not working- cannot connect to internet. What should I do?

Onedrive not working- cannot connect to internet

Hello,

I just upgraded to Windows 10 and when I try to set up one drive, I get the error "There was a problem connecting to OneDrive. Check your internet connection and try again". I am connected to the internet since I am posting from the same computer now.

All my cloud or signin services eg Dropbox, Skype and Steam are behaving in the same manner, the installers/sign ins all tell me I cannot connect to the internet. I suspect it is the same problem causing all this.

I am running Avast antivirus.

Please help! It would be much appreciated.

Uninstall Avast it's doesn't seem to work properly in Windows 10 at the moment

I have no problems with W10 and avast. If you disable avast does it work?

Thanks for your replies. I tried disabling all the active shields on my avast and the installers are still not working. I have to use the web to access dropbox etc. I still cannot install skype.

If I uninstall avast is there another brand of antivirus that I could use? Not particularly sure if I should be using my computer without any virus protection while surfing the web.

Kaspersky is really good antivirus software. Go into the network settings and run the trouble shooting tool.

Hi,

I tried downloading the free trial of Kaperskys but it says I cannot connect to the internet, same as all the other services I am trying to install.
Any other suggestions? Thanks
