my phone has an over heating problem and also got stuck on flight mode after update

I purchased my phone with WP8 and it had no overheating problems but after I updated it to WP8.1 and installed my previous app the starts heating up while all other app are closed.
Also my phone got stuck on flight mode after I updated it to WP 8.1 cyan and denim
