My phone was left in the car for about an hour and a half, now the screen is faded and flickering

I tried to restore it and it has been at n25 percent for about an hour and I don't know what to do because this has never happened before. My wife and I left our phones in our car while we in church earlier today and when I got in my phone was hot to the touch and then I noticed the screen was faded and flickering. What can I do?

Try to put the battery out and leave it for a few hours maybe that'll work

Shut it off completely then place it in the fridge for around an hour.

I knew something will go wrong with phone if left under direct sunlight. I always cover the camera &/ proximity sensor.
In your situation I would shut it down and leave for few hours. If it doesn't solve the issue I dont even know what to suggest

I noticed that in sunny days when your phone is hot it automatically decrease brightness to lower power draw and prevent additional overheating, but I never seen something like you have

That looks like a display issue -- not internal electronics. . .
