My Sansung SGH-i917 is stuck on logo

[Windows Central Question]

I recently received Samsung SGH-i917 at&t windows as a gift from a friend which he bought from his trip to Korea. I have been able to boot the phone since. It is stuck on the Samsung logo and wouldn't boot. I hope the problem be solved since am in Ghana and there is noway of returning it back to the shop now. Thank you.
