My start button, search bar, or my new notification button won't work?,

I updated to windows 10, 2 weeks ago and have had no problems until last night. I've restarted my computer and tried everything I could think of to fix it, but nothing has worked.

hmmm, sounds like registry fault... happened to my dads pc win 10 installation after trying to change C/Users/Username paths to another Username folder. Try this sfc /scannow in admin Cmd prompt. Try this windows+r type netplwiz, go to properties and compare username with your username path in c/users/username. If they don't match that's the problem, they need to match! Restart Pc and start, search etc will work. Download Malwarebytes and scan. If not open system restore and restore PC to an earlier point. But I guess you're using some cleaning utility like CC cleaner and so on... Uninstall that, it causes some serious issues, and breaks more stuff than fixes. And for last resort do a clean win 10 install.
