Is there any good navigation app for the HTC 8x I live in Australia and the here drive app isn't available

It doesn't have turn-by-turn, but gMaps is pretty good.

Yea your best option is gmaps or turn by turn navigation.

Technically Here beta is a regional limited version of the Here beta+. But legally they might need a standalone approval from the local authorities.
