Need Advise on what Win 10 Phone

I need a decent midrange windows phone while waiting for the Surface Phone to come out in 2017 and may be wait for its second iteration looking at history of Surface & Lumias 9xx.

Dont want to burn a hole in the pocket at the same time as this will be just a stop gap device.

My Requirements:
No Wifi disruptions
No Call drops
5.5' screen -- Beautiful screen important
high resolution camera not too important
zippy processor
Memory 64GB+ (externa expansion doesnt matter, good to have)
Good battery Life

All suggestions are highly appreciated.

Vaio Phone Biz - it lets your criteria, although it may be hard to acquire outside of Japan and it's somewhat pricey. For the quoted price of $424, you could get a lot more phone for just $70 more with the Lumia 950.

Lumia 650 - This phone will be considerably cheaper, but it's only 5".

Sorry, you have to spend money for a new flagship to get everything you are asking for on that list.

Try GSMArena phone finder, input criteria... If the "Show" button is greyed out, you have no match.

Here's what I did. It's a stop gap, like you said so why go crazy in every category?

Year 2013 or newer
no price to accomodate gently used and leftover stock for a value purchase
Windows Phone
1.2GHz, quad core and up
1 GB RAM or more
16 GB internal and higher
SD slot
5" - 6"
HD (720p) or higher
280ppi and up

Agreed. I am intrested in 1520 and/or M8.

Not sure if there is clarity on M8 getting Win10.

I'm fine grabbing on used our refurbished stock of these two. Let me know what things should i look for before committing on a lemon.

Get a Lumia 1520. It's a no brainer if you're okay with the size. It's really zippy with WM10 and the AT&T unlocked ones are selling for more or less the same price as new 640XLs.

I love my Lumia 1520. Good used ones are about $200 on Ebay.

640 and 640XL are good phones, however, I can see pixels on them when the phone is 4-5 inches from my eyes. The 1520 is perfectly clear.

I wear bifocal glasses but have perfect vision for up close.

If you want to future proof it for a while, get the 950XL or any phone including continuum. MS's focus is on continuum since this is the end vision for their new category they want to create. So at least it will give you more time.

The acer liquid jade primo is considered the best phone for 4k video. It beats iphone and all the android phones.

Not sure if it has been sold yet, but there's a used 950xl with wireless charger selling for $390 here.
