Hey guys,

I'm looking for a few beta testers for the Windows Phone version of my medical app Pocket Lab Values. It's mostly done, I just need people to test it out and make sure there aren't any bugs. Also, I'd like some feedback on the UI since I only started working on it last Sunday.

Here's a link to my app on other platforms for comparison:

And some screenshots:

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Oh my God, didn't see this thread until now! I'm so sorry, I got so caught up in my second round of exams (Cardio, Derma and Epidemiology) that this past right by me. (Then we go on to complain about how medical apps dev never take us into account...)

I would have loved to test your app, I'm currently in my 5th (out of 6) year of Medical School. Coincidentally, I'll begin my clerkships this Monday and having a reference app in my pocket is something I've always wanted. Hopefully your app gets here fast enough, the reviews sound nice so I'm sure it'll be good enough this first release. Most probably, I'll buy, too (hope there's a trial, that always helps) ;)

Kudos to you for acknowledging WP7 and letting us medical personnel enjoy this apps on our platform of choice.

You know what? I put my money where my mouth is. So I just bought your app, to support medical app devs like you. We need you here in WP7. Writing my review later ;)

Thanks for your support. I really appreciate it.

Are you still looking for beta testers or input on the UI?

For the most part, I'm done with beta testing. The app itself is finished and on the store, and I don't think the UI really needs any more tweaking. Comparing it to the rest of the apps on the store, I think it's pretty top notch and worth $2.99 easily (though to a very small group of people relative to the general population sadly). But thank you for the offer.

A slight tweak I would suggest is that, when selecting an option on the categories screen, that option should be highlighted. It's a small detail, but if you're in a hurry, it let's you know if one has tapped correctly or if one made a mistake and has to press the back arrow instantly.

Just a small suggestion I'd like to see implemented. Oh, and I see that you updated it this past week. Thanks for supporting your app.

My wife is a medical professional with a new Lumia 900. I'll check with her to see if this is something she could use. But I want to cosign Justop26. We need more medical apps on the platform.

It's of use to me, since I'm just beginning. If your wife has been a medical professional (particularly a physician) she most probably knows all these values by heart. I still feel it's quite a good reference to have.

Do check the other thread where I recommend other medical apps I've found here
