Need HELP: opening attachments

for some reason I am not able to open email attachments in outlook. it will say incomplete. i thought maybe it was because it is a PDF so I downloaded adobe flash pdf but still cannot open them.

I'm sorry if this has been posted before, I have been searching around. I am using an HTC trophy. Love the phone, but this has been bugging me.

You downloaded "adobe reader"? because "adobe flash pdf" makes no sense.

It's probably not a pdf file, as you would be prompted to download Adobe Reader when you tried to open it if it were a pdf. When you click on it, the file extension should be visible.

sorry about that. Yes it was adobe reader. I am actually not able to open any attachments in email. it starts to download and says download incomplete. It gives me the option to retry but then does the same thing. one of the documents was a pdf, the other was a word document. it is also happening with pictures too in emails.

just wondering if there is a setting somewhere that I am missing or if something is wrong with OS on my phone. the phone came installed with 7.5 mango.

thanks again for any help. its not a huge issue but it is impacting my ability to use the email for work.

try a soft reset or battery pull or turn it off and back on dee if that clears it up.
