Need help with Xbox one or tv

So basically im trying to hook up my XO to a Dynex brand TV. It only supports 720p,but for some reason the screen shows verticle lines thru the screen. I've tried everything and nothing. The xbox works on other tvs.

The tv is fine for viewing other ports (cable or PC) so im not sure if its the xb or tv.

Try changing the display setting on the xbone to 720p?

Did that. At first it was on 1080p, and it was blank, so I had to plug it to a different tv so I could see the options and chose 720p. Now it just vertical lines Everywhere
