Hello, since i updated my desktop and laptop to win 8.1 the netflix app stop working, every time i try to play a movie it gets stuck at 99%

I read reviews form the app store and a lot of people have this issue

Is the app updated? Netflix just changed around the look and design of their site. The app may need updated.

i just tried playing "Wolf of Wall Street" and it got stuck on 97% for a Little bit then it slowly charged 98... 99... ... 100% and started playing fine. (i switched the App right away tho, because i was only testing to see if mine was failing too)

when it was charging (can't remember if 97 or 99%) it appeared on the screen "the player is being configured, this may take a while" or something like that. That coincided with me hitting configuration on the Windows 8 sidebar so it could be that.

PS: i'm from Chile btw. ?Hola!

Yes i got the same message, but it doesn't do anything after hitting 99% desktop and laptop without using the sidebar or touch anything

Strange, the latest update actually improved loading times for me. I used to get a slight delay at 99%, but today it sped through. I still have that loading issue when opening the app though. Content categories and my list take a while to load in when opening, but otherwise it works well.

I see. So to clarify, it doesn't load anything at all once it reaches 99% or it just takes a really long time to load? Have you tried reinstalling the app and can you verify if it is the same problem in the browser/Netflix site?

You may need to go to Netflix.com and deauthorize your computer, or even ask your devices, then reauthorize them one by one. This sometimes fixes connectivity issues related to a corrupted authorization list.

I can't even get the app to download. Says my internet connection is too slow, although I've tried 4 different networks with 10mbs and up speeds.

There's a repair command that starts with dism /online or something, but try sfc /scannow (in admin cmd).
