Never ending install.

I clicked install now about 20 minutes ago and its just been saying "installing new preview build". However nothing is actually happening. It just says installing in the settings.

Same thing, but I see "Downloading new preview build" & also nothing really happens.

took about 20 minutes on my system and its a fast system. It's creating the build locally and not just downloading and running an installer. I'd give it atleast anther 20 till you get to restart then another 20-40 for the physical installation.

The installation files download to windows/prefetch so you can pull up that location and watch. The download on my system here took about an hour, hour and a half so its going to be a while.

I'm installing on a VM, and it is taking absolutely forever. I think my download speed with the virtualized networking is the biggest problem.

same here with me... its been more than 8 hours still its downloading new preview build... Though my internet is working perfectly fine... Can anyone tell whats the size of the update?

I still recommend waiting. The size is upwards of 3 gigabytes. VMs usually run slower than your host OS.
