my new 930 arrive today  after a week with 830 I decided to get the 930 so far pretty good.
do like the feel of the 830 in the hand hope that will change after handling the 930 for a while.
I haven't updated to the new OS yet don't know if that would be a good idea the start button seen a little off center I have to push on the high side to get it turn on. now to set it up like the 830 I didn't do a restore stared fresh. anything i should be looking for.

After updating to Denim, do a hard reset. Seems to help avoiding some overheating problems. Enjoy your phone.

missing the sd card already had to plug in old phone to get some stuff off there.

If we do a Reset, does that mean we have to download all apps again? I am thinking of doing the same thing but wondering if there is an easier way to do a backup of all apps and settings and then do the reset.

When I hard reset my phone, I start from scratch, so I don't know much about backup. I do backup my pictures in One Drive and my contacts are backed up in Microsoft account. I reinstall apps from my Microsoft account after I hard reset but I really don't have a lot of them.

Backup your settings and app list. Transfer photos and music to one drive or computer. Than make a hard reset. After that your settings will be restored when you connect phone with outlook account and applications will be automatically downloaded.
